                                         Pot Salsa Rice

Ingredients

  • Sausage 1 pound
  • Uncooked brown rice 1, ¼ cup
  • Water 1 ½ cup
  • Mild Picante sauce 2 cups
  • Cheese 1 cup grated
  • Tortilla chips optional
  • Avocado optional
  • Sour cream optional

Directions

  • Turn on the instant Buchymix pot
  • When it becomes warm, add the sausages and wait until they become light brown
  • Start adding the water along with the rice
  • Add 1 cup Picante sauce and try not to interrupt or stir
  • Cover the lid or seal it
  • Manually set the 22 minutes of the time for this recipe
  • When time completes, turn off the magic pot and left it uncovered for 10 minutes
  • Change the valve to the venting setting
  • Add the cheese and the other cup of the Picante sauce
  • Enjoy your delicious salsa rice
