Packaging: the packaging is very beautiful and practical.
Functionality: the blender pulverized dried grains (like rice) into powder and blended unpeeled and uncooked apple into purée (mostly $500 and above blender brands attempt to pulverize apple skin into purée). This is very impressive for a $252 blender!
Quality: the blender is made with high quality plastic and steel blades. However, it is important to note that the blender cups are made from the type of plastics that can react with the eugenol in cloves, causing the cups to become cloudy/foggy if used to grind cloves.
Customer service: I did not receive an exceptional service neither did I receive a **** service. The customer service is “bland”. I (the customer) was the one running after the agents (company) instead of the other way round. You need to improve your customer service!
Delivery: delivery was decent. However, it would be nice to send delivery updates to the customers via emails instead of only giving us a tracking number to check. If you are not constantly checking this tracking number, you won’t know what is going on with your delivery.
Overall, for an industry that has been well established for decades, Buchymix is doing a fantastic job breaking into the market and competing with the big companies. Buchymix is also doing an amazing job by providing a solution to an African problem (grinding beans and other African seeds into powder/purée in the comfort of your home without using commercial grade grinders).
